Will my car be fully charged when I need it?
Yes! You set your departure time and desired charge level. Smart charging optimizes when your vehicle charges to minimize grid impact while ensuring it's ready when you need it. You can always override and charge immediately if plans change.
What if I need to charge immediately?
You're always in control. Simply start charging as you normally would—the smart charging schedule is just a default. There are no penalties for manual charging when you need it.
Is this safe for my EV battery?
Absolutely. Smart charging is actually better for your battery than fast charging. We use standard Level 2 charging rates recommended by manufacturers, which helps extend battery life compared to frequent DC fast charging.
Do I need special equipment?
No special equipment required! If your EV supports scheduled charging (most do) or you have a smart charger (ChargePoint, JuiceBox, etc.), you're all set. We integrate with your existing setup.
Can I participate if I charge at public stations?
